Despite Winning More Rings Than Michael Jordan, Lakers Legend Refuses to Use Major Flex in Front of Corporate America
2023/12/28

Michael Jordan's greatness in the world of basketball remains unquestionable. His six championships with the Chicago Bulls stand as a testament to the legacy he has left behind. It is common for players like Jordan and Bill Russell to proudly display their rings as symbols of their achievements.

During his time in the NBA, Horry won an impressive seven championships with three different teams. When asked why he doesn't flaunt his rings like Jordan or Russell, Horry simply responded that it's not his style.

He expressed that he wants to be known as Robert Horry, the seven-time champion, rather than relying on a flashy persona like "Big Shot Rob," which he only uses in front of corporate America.

This sets him apart from other players on the list of most championships in NBA history, which is predominantly dominated by Boston Celtics players from the 1950s and 1960s. Horry's ability to win championships with multiple teams, coupled with his clutch performances, earned him the nickname "Big Shot Rob."
