Jolene, a Dolly Parton-inspired nightclub, opens in Williamsburg

Dolly Parton is the inspiration behind a new hotspot in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn.

“” — which was released 50 years ago by the country music legend and recently covered by hip hop superstar , Parton’s goddaughter , and jazz singer Wendy Moten — is the name of a swanky new watering hole that opens to the public this weekend at the  at 353 Bedford Avenue.

The 150-person space is “reminiscent of the 1970s and 1980s nightclubs,” , and is accentuated by bold textures, modular furniture and an illuminated ceiling.

Guests will enjoy state-of-the-art audio in the “retro-themed, high-energy room” inspired by the “fierceness and femininity” of the

“This is the place to dance, drink, relax and just completely be yourself to the sound of the best music around,” said Elad Zvi of , which collaborated with the Moxy to create the unique space. The consulting agency also worked with the hotel on its lobby cocktail bar, , and rooftop lounge, LilliStar.

Jolene’s opening weekend lineup of entertainers include DJ Delish, Kels, Shawn Dub, Analog Soul, Eli Scobar and Haruka.
